Champagne, Cheese And Fine Wine; The Pearl Is Set To Redefine

You want a little bit of this but a little bit of that. Enter, The Pearl…

Mixing the best of both worlds, say hello to Adelaide’s newest club and cocktail bar, The Pearl. This new venue with an international flavour is set to redefine the VIP experience in the city.

You will find it in the city’s re-thriving West End near Colonel Light Square, mixing inspiration from New York and Western Europe, this dual cocktail bar and nightclub has something a little different…

“The Pearl is a cocktail bar at the front and club at back, like you’d find in the large scale clubs of America,” co-owner Tim Delia says.

The VIP section will come with its own private waitress and bottle service. Hello! Yes please. We don’t see that very often. And with some of the finest champagnes on offer including Dom Perignon and Louis Roederer Cristal, plus some of our fave local wine choices including D’Arenberg and Bird in Hand, we certainly won’t go thirsty.

“Our wine list is extensive and has something to suit all tastebuds and levels of luxury, as well as a full list of top shelf spirits. We also recommend the Green Pearl, our signature cocktail which is vodka based and just perfect over summer.

And with drinks comes all of the food… Salmon bruschetta, caviar and cheeses aged in champagne – all of the finer things in life. Sounds ideal to us. And even better (as if it could be), keeping true to South Australia, they will be using a local supplier to source only the best.

While you sip on the bubbles and delve into the aged cheese, you can expect to experience five star service within a five star space.

“We were inspired by the glamour of New York and the elegance of Europe,” Tom Nika, the second half of the duo behind The Pearl, explains.

“The interior perfectly showcases this. Leather couches and booths, high open spaces, marble bar tops and pressed metal roofing. Unique lighting completes the look.

“But of course, Australian bars are unique to Australia and we wanted to make sure that came through. Our interior designer, Lydia Fulgido, has done a fantastic job of combining the influences.”

Cocktail bar goers will not be the only patrons to get a taste of the high life. The club section of The Pearl will be home to Carmine Vozzo, a local Adelaide DJ, as well as other local and touring DJs playing a mix of house and RnB.

Get set to experience The Pearl when it opens to the public on Friday 4 December from 8pm, with multiple DJ acts and drink specials until the small hours of the morning.
