This year’s Adelaide Fringe is just over a week away and to kick start the next month of exciting performances in the City, the Town Hall will host the event’s 50th anniversary tonight.

Pickled is a physical theatre work that explores the concept of self preservation. Pickled presents one performer trying to survive (with dignity) the accident which is waiting to happen, which in this case is many.
In September 2008, four Adelaide artists travelled to Jingdezhen in China as part of an international residency supported by the Helpmann Academy for the Visual & Performing Arts. Inspired by their travels and experiences – being immersed in a world of porcelain traditions – the four artists have responded by creating ceramic, mixed media and jewellery works that will be on show during the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
Go-Go busts out on to the stage at Regent One Theatre full of comedy, song, dance and drama as part of the 2010 Adelaide Fringe.
This work, entitled Based On A True Story will be playing at The Ed Castle; and best coined as indie-rock-music-theatre, it has been created in an exceptional way.
During the Adelaide Fringe, Lustre Gallery will be exhibiting exciting works by local artists; craftsman David Innocente, jeweller Julie Frahm, and printmaker Shelley Richards.
