Last night the Free-Jumping revolution officially hit Adelaide with the opening of BOUNCEinc, a state of the art trampoline park with more than 100 interconnected trampolines.
Being shall we say, quite well endowed, I was slightly trepidacious at the opportunity to road test a place where the walls become the floor and the rules of gravity are challenged. But the family was ready to fly, so off I went armed with my industrial Oprah approved Ennell sports bra to last nights opening bouncefest.
From dodgeball courts to trampoline slam-dunk hoops, this place is a shrine to fun. Perhaps the most fun of all being the BOUNCE “super tramp’, the biggest trampoline in the country.
There is the obvious school holiday/kids birthday party heaven that Radelaidian parents are going to go crazy for. But here’s the really exciting thing, trampoline training is about the best workout there is! According to the guys at BOUNCE 10 minutes of jumping is equivalent to running for 30 minutes and with that ratio they’ve won me and proof is in my awkward swagger today. So forget juggling, work, family and exercise time, just grab your brood for some quality family fun time and bounce the kilos away.
What I love most about this place however is the motivation behind it, to let go and be active just for the fun of it. BOUNCinc is more than a free jumping revolution it’s a place to give your self-permission to just be HAPPY! So slap on some leggings and get bouncing baby.
Inside scoop, the word from the playground is this place is already well on the radar, with two party invites before the joint had even opened its doors! Thus my tip is to book online in advance as sessions will sell out.
BOUNCE Inc Adelaide is located at 164-168 Richarmond Road Marleston and is open to the public as of today. General admission starts at $17.00 pp for adults and $11.00 for kids under 110cm in height. There are also some great discounts for second visits and multi-passes.
