Once in a while it’s great to sneak out of the office and do something cool with your mum. The annual Harris Scarfe Mother’s Day High Tea is one such occasion. A crowd of invited guests all come along with their mums, family or close friends, and indulge in a veritable feast.
Catered by Hilton Adelaide, who are quite experienced in the whole High Tea gig, the spread of food is quite incredible. The fact that we all got to hang out in the new Harris Scarfe store in Rundle Mall (next to their funky new cafe on the 2nd floor) also meant that we could sneak in a little shopping for Mother’s Day after the event! To top everything off, we were given a Simply Vera (Wang) gift bag on departure and I’m now in love with her new range of candles. I guess that’s my cue to go & buy some of her newly launched range from Harris Scarfe?
