Beach Art Meets Wine At The Patritti Brighton Jetty Sculptures This Week

Gorgeous sculptures, heavenly wine deals by Patritti Wines and a day at the beach, make sure to head down to Brighton for the 11th annual Brighton Jetty Sculptures this week!

How many times have you walked along the beach at Glenelg and admired (or shamelessly wished to take a photo with) the sculpture of the man on the park bench? You know the one… Well, you will be able to admire a lot more gorgeous – and potentially iconic – sculptures starting tomorrow at the 11th annual Patritti Brighton Jetty Sculptures event. So rejoice! (And you can double rejoice because Patritti Wines will be there with many drink specials ensuring we have all the wine we so desire).

Decorating gardens in Adelaide as well as as far afield as Scotland and Hawaii, you can be reassured that these sculptures will be worthy of your time. With estimates of more than 100,000 visitors last year, people will no doubt yet again flock to Brighton Beach to get a look at some of the most gorgeous sculptures in Australia. There are said to be record entries this year, with more than 100 sculptors taking part.

And it’s all in the name of a good cause as well, which makes it all the more easy to get on board with. The event acts as a major fundraiser for Brighton Surf Lifesaving (non-government funded) through the sale of the sculptures, having raised more than $175,000 used primarily for lifesaving equipment and training.

If you’re still waiting for the part where we mention the lovely South Australian Patritti Wines that will be on offer at the Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club, then here you are! Patritti’s vineyards are located in McLaren Vale’s sub-regions of Tatachilla, situated near the coast and Blewitt Springs, just east of the McLaren Vale township. Producing a range of aperitifs, table, dessert, sparkling and de-alcoholised wines as well as non-alcoholic fruit juices, the family-owned wine truly does provide the goods.

The drinks specials Pattritti will be offering are on selected Patritti Wines. With bottles for $18 and $4.50 glasses, the will be more reason to pop on over than ever before. The bar will be open as follows:

Friday 26th Jan – 12pm – 5pm

Saturday 27th Jan – 12pm to evening

Sunday 28th Jan – 12pm to evening

So if you’re an art fan, beach fan, wine fan or just a lover of fans (there may be a fan sculpture, you never know), make sure to head down to Brighton Jetty Sculptures starting from tomorrow.
