Adelaide fashion label Misty Belvidere is showcasing their latest plus-size collection “Tropiflora” to Full Figured Fashion Week (FFFW) in New York City on 19th June, 2015.
The collection travelling to NYC for FFFW has embraced the modern technology of digital printing and is constructed of high-quality fabrics in styles that endorse and represent the curvier female figure. Designer Miss Kate has vowed to bring sophistication and innovation to plus-size fashion with the label.
A graduate of Fashion Design and lover of self-expression through ensembles, she is excited to bring this level of fashion to a captive audience. Misty Belvidere doesn’t apologise for having hips and allows women to embrace the confidence in fashion like their standard-sized sisters. Says designer Miss Kate, “All women want the same thing, and that’s to look and feel beautiful”.
Misty Belvidere has been featured in The Advertiser, Fashion Trend Australia, Attitude Magazine and showcased in Melbourne’s Curvy Couture Runway, a part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) in March of this year (pictured) which was well received by guests and attended by plus-size model Tess Holliday.
