This week there has been excitement in the air at cherri bellini. The team have been busy unpacking, displaying, photographing and of course trying on the much anticipated arrivals of Pascucci brogues and loafers. These pretty pink boxes touched down on the tarmac of Adelaide Airport literally on Monday morning after a very long journey from Tuscany.
And they’re about as one-of-a-kind as you can get.
Firstly they have been hand made EXCLUSIVELY for cherri bellini from the finest craftsman in Italy and secondly, there is only ONE of each size made. Most of the shoes run from a size 35 to a 42 and also come in half sizes! =
Team cherri spend hours over dozens of coffees and South Australian wines, over coloured leather swatches. Metallic, patent, suede, in every colour you can imagine! These chosen swatches are then put together in a colour combination for each brogue. Team cherri have been designing brogues for 5 years now and the results get better and better every year. They are unique and showcase not only the various personalities behind the store, but also the customers who have showed continuous support over the years. When colour combinations are chosen the next step is to name the shoes. This collection includes The ‘Lee’ and The ‘Lloyd’ both named after two regular visitors to the store.
If you are not familiar with the cult following brogues have, they are the style trend that never dies.
