Australian Online Music Institute has just announced that their 2016 scholarship applications are now open. Scholarships will be offered in Certificate II, II and IV in Music on both a full-time and part-time basis. Students also receive a studio package and textbooks as part of their scholarship.

AOMI is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that offers music qualifications online in an e-learning format. The scholarship program has been developed to cater for truly talented individuals who wouldn’t necessarily have another way of completing the course due to financial restrictions.

Music scholarship applications are open to all Australian residents aged 14 years and above who have a passion for music and want to develop their craft at the same time as gaining a formal nationally recognised qualification.

The programs have been developed by William Palmer, a guitarist who is originally studied at the Elder Conservatorium in Adelaide and is currently undertaking his PhD in music composition through Sydney Conservatorium of Music and who has toured the U.S.A as well as locally.

The courses cater for all learning styles and cover a balanced array of subjects including practical, theory and industry based knowledge. As the course content is delivered online, there are no specific on-campus hours that students must adhere to, and this is one of the factors that separates study with AOMI from other learning institutions.

For 2016, there are 4 scholarships on offer and applicants are encouraged to get their applicants in as soon as possible by applying online at www.musicinstitute.com.au.

Applications Close: Friday 18th September 2015 and applicants will be notified in October this year of the outcome.
