The annual Gala Ball will be held at The Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 2 August to raise crucial funds towards the charities fundamental programs.

Themed around ‘A night to remember’, the signature fundraising event has been a regular addition to social
calendars for the hundreds of local guests that attend.

Jam-packed with entertainment and countless auction items up for grabs, funds raised on the night will go towards assisting the essential programs run by the Charity.

“The generosity of guests and loyal supporters that attend the ball never ceases to amaze me.

Every little bit counts towards helping the charity continue to provide a home away for home for families with seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital,” said Ronald McDonald House Adelaide Executive Officer, Jane Scotcher.

“Childhood illness can have a devastating effect on families, particularly when you are away from home and the
support networks offered by friends and family.

The house relies on generous contributions from the community to provide rural families with a home environment where they can stay close together and continue to enjoy small comforts such as home cooked meals and a space of their own,” said Ms Scotcher.

The black-tie event is an elegant and entertaining evening giving guests the chance to dress to the nines and
enjoy a beautiful three course meal paired with South Australian wines, all while raising funds for a vital cause.

There are loads of live major auction items up for grabs such as the ultimate race experience at the Singapore
Grand Prix in September and a five star Port Douglas getaway for six people.

Last year the Gala Ball raised over $175,000 and since its inception 20 years ago has raised more than $2.5 million

for Ronald McDonald House Charities to help build the Adelaide House and support over 3000 families since

opening in 2000.
Each year, Ronald McDonald House Charities invites a leading Australian artist to entertain guests at the Gala

Ball and this year is no exception with South Australian crooner, David Campbell returning to his home turf to perform alongside hosts, Amity Dry and Rankine.

With the twentieth anniversary milestone quickly approaching, Ronald McDonald House Charities is encouraging South Australians to come along and join its loyal supporters at what is set to be an unforgettable

Gala Ball in August.
