Fantastic Food Blogger Competition Launched

The South Australian Writers Centre and Food Bloggers Australia is proud to announce the food blogging writing competition for 2014 is now open.

This year the competition has opened to ALL Australian food bloggers and it is a fantastic opportunity for food bloggers from all around the country to show off their writing skills and possibly win a great prize for their efforts.

There will be four prizes awarded under the categories of Food or Food/Travel Narrative, Restaurant Review, Original Recipe and Best New Food Blog Under 12 Months. The South Australian Writers Centre and Food Bloggers Australia are thrilled to have the support of KitchenAid Australia and Wakefield Press for this competition.

The Food or Food/Travel and Restaurant Review categories will be judged by food historian, author and Professor of the Graduate Program in Food Studies at the University of Adelaide, Barbara Santich and Annabelle Baker, food writer at the Adelaide Review. The Original Recipe category and The Best New Blog under 12 Months will be judged by Amanda McInerney and Jennifer Schmidt, co-founders of Food Bloggers Australia.

One winner from each of the first three categories will be awarded a fabulous KitchenAid 9 Speed Hand Mixer and the winner of the Best New Blog under 12 Months will receive a $100 book voucher from Wakefield Press.

The competition is open to ALL Australian food bloggers and will run until 5pm on Sunday 20 July, 2014. All the details can be found at Food Bloggers Australia or the South Australian Writers Centre.
