Russian born Katya Komarova is set to launch her new collection at Adelaide Fashion Festival, blending classic textures with sharp, fashion-forward designs.

Russian born designer, Katya Komarova is presenting her third collection at the Adelaide Fashion Festival this October. It is expected to be an innovative feast; from a design perspective her accessories are a refreshing blend of excellent craftsmanship and fashion-forward thinking.

In a fashion climate where designers are constantly trying create with more sustainable materials, Katya has taken an experimental approach with her accessories. She continues to use her favourite vegetable tanned leather, however, in her upcoming collection she is also introducing her new use of delicate suede, cotton and stitch-less accessories, giving new life and vigour to her designs. Experimentation is very on brand for this designer, as she is constantly infusing modern aesthetics within traditional Italian techniques.

Komarova is excited to present her latest collections as part of the Adelaide Fashion Festival. “I can’t wait to see how my new designs are received by the audience at the fashion festival,” she says. “As well as new bag designs, there are some accessories that I have not presented before like the cross body harness that I am particularly excited to share”.

Her sophisticated blend of bold yet classical designs reflect an attitude that empowers any woman sporting her accessories to appear fierce in stature. By embellishing her products with gatherings and metal rivets the finished products are unique and undeniably chic, harnessed with the ability to turn a basic outfit into an avant-guarde statement, yet still remaining timeless.
