Nourish Festival, Adelaide’s new premier yoga, fitness and well-being festival will be held at Rundle Park this Saturday, October 17.

Nourish Festival, the first full-day event of its kind in Adelaide, is expected to attract thousands of attendees who will descend on Rundle Park for a healthy and educational day out.

Festival Director Kate Abraham said the growing movement of people wanting to lead healthier and fitter lifestyles was the idea behind Nourish Festival.

“We really want this festival to be a retreat in the city where people can be given the tools to build on their health and fitness and enjoy a wonderful day out in the sun,” Ms Abraham said.

“We are really excited to be welcoming a number of industry experts who will give demonstrations on the day. There will also be food markets showcasing local businesses that specialise in fresh and healthy food.”

The festival will feature fitness, yoga and barre classes as well as PT sessions for those wanting a personalised approach. There will also be talks from industry experts, including author and motivational speaker Melissa Ambrosini, sports dietician Tanya Lewis and former tennis player and coach Roger Rasheed.

There will be two main food events for the day, a two-course breakfast followed by a long table lunch, both hosted by Luke and Scott from My Kitchen Rules. The Bondi boys will host the events and also partake in a Q&A sharing their clean living advice.

This festival will truly have something for everyone with Endota Spa hosting a pop-up day spa for the event, allowing those attending a chance to unwind and relax after their fitness class.

Official Nourish Festival ambassador Lola Berry has dedicated her life to getting the world excited about health and good food.

“I’ve got so many fresh ideas at the moment and I cant wait to get there and inspire people to really make a change to their everyday lives,” she said.

The festival runs from 6.30am until 7pm. General entry is free with some food events, fitness classes and talks ticketed.
