Adelaide’s East Welcomes New Mouth-Watering Brunch Hotspot

From the man behind Jack Ruby and Port Elliot’s ‘The Sailing Club’, comes this Japanese-influenced brunch hotspot.

As if running one of Adelaide’s coolest basement bars, Jack Ruby, a gym on Magill Road, Kitchen & Catering by Sam and pulling off one of the most epic New Year’s festivals – The Sailing Club – wasn’t enough, Sam Worrall-Thompson has this week opened a new café, Fine and Fettle.

The menu selection consist of a combination between everyday breakfast-style foods and healthy eats, for example, on one hand you have Spiced lamb, pomegranate, poached eggs with charred cauliflower, harissa or Chargrilled pumpkin, asparagus, creme fraiche, broccolini, capers, spiced nuts, edamame with ocean trout and a selection of Japanese-inspired salad bowls like Kalbi beef short rib over coals, kimchi, brown rice, pickled cucumber, beansprouts. Then you have things like the tonkatsu pork hock brioche bun.

They’ve also brought family-owned Presstwood coffee to the east side who have just won Bronze at the Australian International Coffee Awards 2017 for their Cappuccino, Blend.
