Adelaide’s Dessert & Wine Street Party Sounds Too Good To Be True

There is a desert festival happening this weekend and trust us you’ll be in the mood for Something Sweet.

Loosen your pants, forget about that summer body and treat yo self at Adelaide’s newest dessert party! Something Sweet is happening over 11th and 12th of November at the City East Markets and it sounds like heaven.

The Something Sweet Market was created around the idea of a master chocolatier, Bec from The Cheeky Chocolate Queen, who had a stall at the Market to Markets every weekend. The idea was to promote her fabulous products and showcase other incredible desserts from SA-grown stallholders. The Cheeky Chocolate Queen has over 50 flavours of chocolate frogs (you heard it, 50) and also has vegan and gluten-free chocolate available too.

There’s plenty of options for everyone to sink their teeth into, with 30 stalls available on Saturday and 12 on Sunday. The stallholders will be serving up all the classics as well as vegan-friendly, gluten-free and even paleo deserts (check out From The Wild if that’s your thing), and even a gluten-free bakery. We have no doubt that you will be able to find your favourite dessert and we definitely think you could find a new one.

There’s something for everyone of all ages, with chocolate themed face paint for the kids, and Hilltop Wines available for big kids to find that perfect wine to pair with a decadent dessert.

So, how could this event get any better? FREE ENTRY for all and FREE PARKING on the street from midday.

Check out the Facebook page for more info.

When: Saturday 11th November – Sunday 12th November
Time: 10am-3pm both days
Where: The City East Markets
