Not long until Bowerbird opens the doors to Spring/Summer 2014, a three-day event bringing together work from the best of Australia’s designer makers, making it the perfect venue for discovering beautiful, inspirational ideas and Christmas gifts.
Over the past five years Bowerbird has grown to be recognised as a must-see Adelaide design market. Held twice a year, every May and November, in the Stirling Angas Pavilion at the Adelaide Showground, Bowerbird brings together a broad range of carefully selected designer makers from around the country, presenting the latest ideas and innovations across the areas of fashion, jewellery, accessories, homewares, furniture, lighting, kidswares, and more.
With over 120 stalls, all staffed by the designer makers behind the products, it’s a haven for design savvy shoppers, alongside those with an interest in high quality workmanship and materials, upcycling, recycling and the handmade.
In addition to the opportunity to engage with the best of Australia’s design talent, Bowerbird offers a great venue to catch up with friends, or for a family outing.
On Fridays from 4pm the Bowerbird bar is always open, offering wine and beer from artisan South Australian suppliers, and this is when the entertainment kicks off!
For their Spring/ Summer event they’re thrilled to be presenting some special Christmas inspired Friday night activities including carols on the lawn and a Christmas wreath-making demonstration, to be enjoyed over a glass of sparkling Prosecco from Niccolo Wines, or a selection of whites and reds from Hither and Yon.
