Here at Glam, we know the importance of looking our best. Luckily Adelaide is home to some of the best in the business, and we were thrilled to help the team at Alkazar Salonnieres launch their new Glen Osmond Road salon.
A little party never hurt nobody, right? And on such a beautiful Friday night, this was the perfect way to kick off our weekend…
When you are given a Veuve Cliquot mimosa as soon as you enter the door to an event, you know that it is going to be a good one. And a good one this was… With stunning fresh flowers beautifully designed by Lily West Blooms, champagne candles from The Scent Candle Co, tasty and sweet fruit and cheese delights and a flowing chocolate fondue, it is safe to say that we were in heaven. This salon had been transformed into some kind of wonderland! And we loved it…
Now obviously we got distracted by all of the amazingness (can you blam us?) but these guys are doing really cool things. The collaborations and artistic transformations that took place at the launch were really exciting and reflected the huge talents and dreams of the team. But the really exciting stuff is that in the few months they have been open, they have already developed a cult following and contributed to some very cool projects in the media.
Basically we will be visiting this salon again so we can get them to work their magic on us, and in the meantime we will keep dreaming of their beautiful launch full of so many of our faves (that cheese)!
