Adelaide will have its last chance to step into the fascinating world of TOTEM this week, as it wraps up this Sunday 12 July.

There are only 8 performances left under the Cirque du Soleil blue and yellow big top at The Plateau at Tampawardli. Having already amazed thousands of spectators, including Adelaide’s very own personalities Warren Tredrea, Kate Collins and players from the Port Adelaide Football Club, this is one show that shouldn’t be missed! Even Barry Humphries enjoyed the show while he was here for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, so maybe you should too, possum (hello, Dame Edna reference)!

After its final week here in Adelaide, the show will be heading over to Perth on its last Australian tour stop. Since its World Premiere in 2010, TOTEM has visited 29 cities worldwide and mesmerised more than 3.8 million spectators with its uplifting array of athleticism, comedy, heartfelt emotions and surprising visual effects.

If that isn’t enough to make you want to go and see this phenomenal show, here is a little backdrop on what the show is all about:

Written and directed by Robert Lepage, TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. Somewhere between science and legend, TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.

We think Adelaide is pretty lucky to have the visually stunning and very entertaining show in town, and if you want to see it before it is too late then you should visit www.cirquedusoleil.com/totem for show and ticket information.
