Let’s face it. Adelaide is in the midst of a dessert frenzy.
Gone are the days where all we saw in our Instagram feed was layered salads in jars and green shakes. It’s now about rainbow macarons, epic milkshakes, towering donuts, and desserts so beautiful, you’re really not sure if you should eat it or take a photo.
Well dessert lovers, your time isn’t over just yet, with the amazing news that Adelaide has just become home to a new, one meter long creation, packed full of sweet sweet goodness.
Antica Pizzeria e Cucina has raised the bar again, after first making a name for themselves with the one metre La Dolce pizza. They then backed it up with a one metre tiramisu. Now they’ve just launched their next big creation – the Nutella Calzone.
The popular dessert has been supersized to one metre, making it the only dessert of its kind in Australia. The Calzone comes with a whopping 2kg of Nutella – ensconced in wood oven pizza dough – and accompanied with vanilla bean ice cream.
“We’re excited to offer these delicious desserts to our customers. The bigger the better!” says owner Anthony Crea.
