Once again Adelaide is proving itself to be just as awesome as we rave it to be, beating other world-class cities to come in at number 5 on the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Global Liveability Index for 2014, coming Australian second to Melbourne.
Who do we thank? Our award winning restaurants, wineries, pop up bars, clubs and manageable traffic! Adelaide has a new buzz to it that is now proving the city to be just as great as we’ve always known it to be. Sydney also made the list, slicing in a number 7, while Perth took out number 9.
We can also attribute the high Adelaide ranking to affordable housing, great (mostly) weather, accessibility (airport/beach), and availability of resources. Do you agree with Adelaide’s placing? Are we worthy of such a prestigious position?
