Sidewood’s Mappinga Reserve Shiraz 2012 from the Adelaide Hills has just won a double gold and been named BEST RED WINE at the prestigious 2015 Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America competition held in Florida last week.The impressive win completes a hat trick of awards for the 95 point Halliday rated wine which also won a Double Blue Gold at the 2014 Sydney International Wine Competition and the Bang Brothers Trophy from the 2013 Winestate Magazine Top 5 Australian and New Zealand Shiraz. Of the 500 cases produced, 23 cases of the 2012 Mappinga shiraz remain available via cellar door only.
