ADELAIDE FRINGE PARADE: IT’S ON!

Adelaide Fringe director Greg Clarke says the festival’s opening night parade will go ahead as planned at 7pm tonight.

Adelaide Fringe continues to put safety first for parade participants and spectators and is closely monitoring the weather.

Kicking off tonight with a cast of thousands is the Fringe Opening Night Parade. Lead by the King and Queen of Adelaide Fringe 2011, quirky performers will be trailing through the streets of the East End.

Until the 13th of March, Adelaide Fringe is packed full with a record amount of artists, ranging in performances from; comedy, circus, music, cabaret, theatre and many more.

The International Buskers Festival, Fringe Family Weekend, Adelaide Street Theatre Festival and Natuzzi Food and Wine Festival are just some of the events available throughout the course of this exciting time of the year in Adelaide for the Fringe.

With performances and entertainment throughout the city and suburbs, Adelaide Fringe is close by for everyone to enjoy. The East End parklands will be full of excitement and thrills as the Garden of Unearthly Delights, Future Music Festival and free concerts will be sure to draw you into the event of the year!
