52 Pick Up – Page 60 – A play chopped up into 52 pieces, thrown in the air and picked up in random order. Every show is different  – Brilliant Theatre

Bully – Page 62 – Huge hit in Edinburgh – UK performer

Death in Bowengabbie – Page 62 – Awarded best writing for the 2009 Fringe. 5 star, return season.

Dye Young/Stay Pretty – Page 62 – Huge hit of Feast. Debbie Harry fans will love it – and be moved at the same time.

Fern Hill & Other Dylan Thomas – Page 64 – Guy Materson is the master of Dylan. Poetic mastery.

Heroin(e) for Breakfast – Page 64 – Winner of the 2009 Edingurgh Fringe award. A beautiful and grim portrail of addiction. Cast from Manchester.

My Name Is Rachel Corrie – Page 66 – Starring actress Hannah Parry who won best Actor in 2009 Fringe. Directed by Daniel Clarke.

The Rap Guide to Evolution – Page 71 – Baba Brinkman is a genius.

True West by Sam Shepard – Page 73 – Tight, rollocking theatre. Welcome return season.

Yuri Wells – Page 73 – Winner of the Melbourne Fringe, come to Adelaide award.

CABARET

A Burlesque Tribute to Elvis: Elvisarama – Page 8 – Return after sell out season in Fringe 09. New show.

Die Roten Punkte – Rock! – Page 10 – Brother, Sister (unrelated in life) duo who are ‘wrong’ but very entertaining.

Everbody’s Got Something To Hide (Except for Me and My Monkey) – The Lennon & McCartney Songbook – Page 10 – Libby O’Donovan and his cast are pros. A much anticipated new show. Local talent.

The Wau Wau Sisters’ Last Supper – Page 13 – Hi energy cabaret at it’s ‘edgy best’.

COMEDY

Adam Hills – Mess Around – Page 16 – Selling fast of course.

Akmal - It’s Not My Fault – Page 16 – Fast talking story telling Egyptian funster.

Arj Barker – Let Me Do The Talking… – Page 16 – He loves Adelaide and can tell you a story or two about the world.

Best of the Edinburgh Fest at the Gov – Page 18 – Always a few red hot new kids with stars in their eyes. A lovely show.

Dave Callen – Page 19 – Long haired Irish dude with a lovely twist on life.

Des Bishop – Page 20 – Another Irish comic who sells out in minutes in the UK.

Hannah Gadsby – The Cliff Young Shuffle – Page 25 – Local talent going off.

Justin Hamilton – Idiot Man Child – Page 28 – Brilliant comic. Local and now big.

Ross Noble – Things – Page 34 – Genius.

The Boy With Tape On His Face – Page 36 – Sold out in 2009. Amazing high energy mayhem

FOR KIDS

Bubble N Squeak Kids Circus Cabaret – Page 14 – New show at the Birdcage Circus tent set up on the Torrens.

Kids Comedy Gala – Page 28 – Always a hit.

Sticks Stones Broken Bones – Page 59 – Incredible shadow puppetry. The sort of thing that would be a huge hit on youtube.

Amazing Drumming Monkeys – Page 59 – SA legends. The Peter Combe of our time… but with environmental monkey puppets!

Peter Combe & Theatre Bugs in Moovy Groovy Songs for Kids – Page 55 – He’s still got it.

MUSIC

Joe Camilleri – Page 53 – Legend.

Kate Ceberano – Page 53 – Legend.

My Friend the Chocolate Cake – Page 55 – Legends.

Nick Parnell - Bach to Brazil – Page 55 – Brazillian rhapsody at the Promethian. Fab.

Renee Geyer – Page 56 – Mostly legend.

Ted Egan – Page 57 – All time legend.

The Idea of North @ Maggie Beer’s – Page 57 – A trip to the wineries. This will be a great combo.

The Polyphonic Spree – Page 58 – Huge UK choir. Major score for the Fringe.

Tubby Justice In Concert – Page 58 – Should be a legend – double bass and dulcet tones. Magic stuff.

AUSTRALIAN PREMIERES

3x Perimentia: Live Cut – Page 43 – Won a Ruby award in 2009. Very modern.

On Ego by Mick Gordon & Paul Broks – Page 69 – Highly anticipated multimedia theatre experiment.

Too Far Again, Not Far Enough – Page 44 – Daniel Jaber ex ADT dancer making it as a choreographer.

Based On A True Story – Page 61 – Presented by local artists the Ladykillers. Much anticipated.
