The launch of the Little Birdy Network at Tuxedo Cat Studios on Wednesday night gave the social butterflies and local business owners of Adelaide something to get excited about.

The new revolutionary social app, developed by the amiable Jack Haines (pictured above), allows social revellers to do what they love best – share exactly where they are, who they are with, and what they are doing, (option of uploading pic of current meal being devoured of course also included) and venues can post live information on events and offers available, communicating directly with the punters.

IMG_4297Jack’s fun presentation included a live demonstration of Little Birdy, which utilizes ibeacon technology – currently FREE and being installed in venues all over Adelaide.

The beacons provide valuable information for venues, showing when a customer has entered the premises, and supplying monthly user statistics.

Aside from being able to see what is happening in real time right across Adelaide (and Jack cite’s soon the rest of the world!) customers will also love the ability to be able to see what venues are nearby and where the drink specials are at, see where the most people have checked in, and where and what their friends are doing.

Tuxedo Cat Studios provided a sensational space for this fun evening, as guests clinked glasses and eagerly tested out the features of the app.

Little Birdy is currently only available on the iphone, but is coming soon to Android.
