Adelaide Based Illustrator Captures Imaginations With Gorgeous New Range

Looking for a piece to put in a child’s room/nursery or just a fabulous present… Then look no further because this Adelaide based illustrator has you covered with her adorably gorgeous prints.

Adelaide’s very own Paper Rabbits by Makoto Koji is thrilled to announce the launch of its first ever product range, for Spring 2015.

This collection of Prints, Mini-Prints and Paper Crafts features both original designs and Paper Rabbit’s watercolour vision of a beloved classic in her Print series: Poppies from OZ.

Spring 2015 marks Makoto’s first foray into her own products. The Spring Collection works span a range of techniques, utilising a graphic digital process for the Baito Girls series, alongside the vibrant, watercolours of her Poppies from OZ pieces.

Keeping with the Paper Rabbits brand, this new range is bursting with vibrant colour and filled with cute, cheeky characters.

Makoto Koji is a Japanese-Australian Illustrator and Animator. Born in Hiroshima in the Year of the Rabbit and raised in the wilderness of rural Queensland, she now, luckily for us, is based in Adelaide. Her work draws from a unique upbringing of both Eastern and Western sensibilities, inspired by fairy tales, animals and all things sweet. Through her brand Paper Rabbits, Makoto aims to spread her stories to the world.
