The second installment of the National Wine Centre Famous Wine Dinners is just around the corner with the Chapel Hill of McLaren Vale Wine Dinner on the 29th May.
The Wine Dinners are a special opportunity for the general public, who may not have had the chance to attend a function at the venue, to experience firsthand its award-winning offering, and all while getting up close and personal to the State’s best wineries and winemakers!
The Chapel Hill of McLaren Vale Wine Dinner will be set in the stunning National Wine Centre, ground floor room The Vines. Tickets sell for $120 each and include a four course meal from multi-award winning Executive Chef Philip Pope. The dinner itself will be personally hosted by McLaren Vale royalty – Chapel Hill’s Marc Allgrove.
Marc Allgrove said “Adelaide is the wine capital of Australia. McLaren Vale is the birthplace of South Australian wine. The National Wine Centre is at the heart of it all, it’s a great place for a dinner. Throughout the wine dinner, I will be discussing facts about our wines such as our Road Block Shiraz was one of the inaugural wines in the McLaren Vale Scarce Earth Project. All of the wines on offer though out the evening except the Grenache are single block and the Grenache was planted in 1926. I believe from nose to tail and north to south of the McLaren Vale, it will be an exciting combination that promises a fun memorable evening.”
