Everybody loves beautiful, fresh flowers. Add some delicious raw cakes and slices, boutique teas, the odd gift and homeware collection, and you have yourself a little slice of Paris. Luckily for those of us too busy (or broke) to travel to the city of love, you can now enjoy these delights right here on Glen Osmond Road.
Following the success of last year’s launch of the FlowerBar concept at Pasadena Foodland, the delightful nook has now also made its way to “The Best Supermarket in the World”. Frewville Foodland now has its very own Flower Bar just in time for Christmas, and we’re over the moon.
The tiny space is bursting with gorgeous colours and aromas, and their abundance of flowers, pot plants and floral arrangements is a feast for the eyes. Fresh flower wreaths adorn the walls just in time for Christmas, while their Pointsettas and miniature real Christmas trees add to the festivities.
Shelves packed with gifts make you want to turf your family’s Christmas list and just buy everything for yourself. Adelaide brand ‘Inspired Candles’ have a wide range of sensational smelling melts, candles, and more, whilst Peppermint Grove products make for the perfect gift on the go. Potted orchids, cut orchids, fig leaf trees, chili plants, a wide variety of fabulous little succulents (perfect for desks of kitchen window sills), ferns, and buckets and buckets of vibrant flowers give this place a cheerful vibe.
Who wouldn’t want to grab a pot of tea and some dessert, whilst sitting amongst the beauty and watching the world go by?
The Frewville Foodland FlowerBar joins the one at Pasadena Shopping Centre, as yet another inspired addition from Chapley Group, who’s family set the standards which led the Frewville Foodland along their path to be awarded the title of Best Supermarket In The World, as named by the Independent Grocers Alliance (IGA), which operates in more than 30 countries.
From live music to cooking demonstrations and tastings, even impromptu ballroom dancing, the Chapley Group have a mandate to surprise throughout their stores. In this sense, Flowerbar is a natural evolution of their ethos and also expands upon the work the Group do alongside YouthInc., to provide opportunities for young South Australians to break the cycle of disadvantage.
