Enjoy A Night Amongst The Vines This Friday With Missy Higgins Live

Friday night kick off’s can’t get better than heading to the hills for a night of Missy Higgins performing live under the stars and amongst the vines.

After an exhausting week at work, what better way to kick off the weekend than heading to the hills for a night beneath the stars and amongst the vines while listening to an Aussie favourite, Missy Higgins. The Missy Higgins concert at Bird in Hand on Saturday night has sold out, but they didn’t want to disappoint all us adoring fans who desperately wanted to see her perform live. So, seeing as Christmas is coming up they’ve decided to fulfil our Christmas wishes by adding one more show on Friday night to make sure nobody misses out.

On Friday, December 9th, the much-beloved Missy Higgins will fuse her live band with South Australia’s largest arts organisation, The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, in a spectacular performance at Bird in Hand’s annual vineyard concert. Under the stars and amongst the vines, expect to hear her iconic hits including Scar, The Special Two, Steer, Where I Stood and Everyone’s Waiting, as well as a handful of brand new songs yet to be heard.

Let your hair down for the night and avoid parking hassles by scooping up a deal with the $25 concert package that organises the bus to take you there and back. Meet at The Arkaba Hotel, Highway Hotel or Kings Head Hotel to get the lift.

Be fully prepared and get yourself a Bird in Hand Picnic Hamper for $55 when you get peckish. There’s the Antipasto Box with House-made Hummus & Skordalia dips, local cheeses, regional cured meats, olives, grapes, roasted capsicum, artichoke & Persian flat bread, which also comes in a vegetarian option. Or perhaps the Summer Barbeque box is right up your alley with Marinated lamb shashliks, grilled chorizo & five spice chicken served with flat bread, mixed green salad and Beerenberg condiments.

It’s three days away, so if you haven’t grabbed your tickets for $115 yet, jump on it quick. It’s not every day you get to see one of the most successful and acclaimed female singer/songwriters in Australian music history perform amongst the vines.
