Friday August 1st will see the launch of “7 rooms”, Port Adelaide’s newest addition of SALA exhibitions proudly supported by SALA, Renewal SA and Our Port.
7 Rooms celebrates St Vincent Street’s diverse collection of exhibit spaces by drawing together a handful of local businesses to showcase art throughout the month of August. Painting, sculpture, ceramics, drawing and photography works will be displayed.
Businesses presenting works will be Forge Creative Warehouse, Red Lime Shack, Poppy and the Wallflowers, Mayfair Bakery and Honeybee Cycles with more to be announced.
Artists include Ned Bajic, Buttergirl, Sarah-Jane Cook, Branwen Davies, Steve Glass, Sue McKenzie, Steve O’Connor, Christian Oliver, Ben Shanahan and Lucy Thurley, Ben Hobbs, Peter Thompson, Mandy Glynn-Jones, Dani Mclean, Bev Puckeridge, Emily Kelly, Richard Kozuszko, Georgina Chadderton and Reb Rowe.
With an extensive list of artists and contrasting styles, 7 Rooms provides publics with the opportunity to get their hands on exclusive one-off pieces from people in the area.
