Ye Ha!! ‘Oklahoma On A Farm’ Back By Popular Demand

This unique, critically acclaimed version of one of the classics of musical theatre returns to the glorious Adelaide Hills this January

Oklahoma as you have never seen it before!

…unless you saw it this year!!

Due to an overwhelming demand, Oklahoma…On A Farm is coming back to Four Oaks Farm, Littlehampton in January 2017. The 2016 production was nominated for Best Professional Musical of the year by Adelaide Theatre Guide!

Set in the beautiful Adelaide Hills at Four Oaks Farm, Emma Knights Productions is bringing this beloved classic to life with a real windmill, a real surrey, live horses and a country fair to boot! Come along and totally immerse yourselves in this unique family friendly experience.

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first collaboration remains, in many ways, their most innovative, having set the standards and established the rules of musical theatre still being followed today. Set in a Western Indian territory just after the turn of the century, the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the colourful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. Although the road to true love never runs smooth, with these two headstrong romantics holding the reins, love’s journey is as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road.

Featuring some of Adelaide’s finest talents in opera and music theatre, with special “Oh what a beautiful morning” shows, this will be an experience not to be missed. Tickets are strictly limited so book early! Kids under 3 free. There will be more food options than before, a bar stocked with local beverages, local country baked goods and country crafts for sale too! (CASH ONLY)

This time around it will be allocated seating. There is also the option to sit on picnic rugs provided at the front or to bring your own. Feel free to move your chair to the shade!

Located at Four Oaks Farm, Littlehampton SA (enter Four Oaks Farm into Google Maps).

Approximate running time of 2.5 hours with a 20 minute interval. Gates will open 30 minutes before the start of the show. Buses from Adelaide can be arranged – please contact Emma Knights Productions if you wish to partake – there will be a small extra cost involved.

You are welcome to bring your own food but please note that the licence does not allow for BYO alcohol and so any alcohol brought will need to be surrendered at the gate.
