Laneway’s best season yet is about to get a whole lot bigger as Laneway The Third presents a jam-packed December filled with quirky Christmas events, themed weekends, pop ups within a pop up and a massive New Years Eve celebration.

Kicking off the festive season with a ‘Welcome Summer Weekend,’ 5th-6th December, Bacardi is decking out Laneway, embracing all things summer. Hawaiian party shirts are encouraged and will be rewarded with alcoholic icy poles, which Laneway have created exclusively for the weekend to keep you cool and somewhat hydrated.

OG Design CO collaborated with Laneway the Third on a number of the pop up venue’s interior graphics, and will also be setting up a pop up shop for the day selling their threads.

Laneway The Third Venue Manager Karah Castellan says, “Laneway has always supported local up-and-coming artists, and it’s great to be able to provide an outlet for them to not only showcase their work but to also launch their new designs.”

Another Adelaide based clothing label, Salty Reign, will be launching their brand the following week, Thursday, 18th December, also setting up as a pop up shop for patrons to purchase their products from their label.

Christmas week kicks off with a massive Christmas Party Saturday, 20th December featuring Laneway’s very own Mrs Clause who will be handing out presents to those who have been naughty and nice.

“We want people to wear some form of pineapple clothing on New Years Eve to receive a unique Laneway gift, in line with our pineapple themed season this year,” says Karah Castellan.

With the West End precinct being the home of the bar scene in Adelaide, Laneway has the festive season covered as we make our way in to 2015.
