Koko Black will open its doors at the high profile corner entry of the Adelaide Arcade from the Rundle Mall. “The location is perfect for allowing us to fuse the nostalgia of such a site to the more modern progressive and imaginative ideas of Koko Black” says Bianca Hung, the Australian architect behind the salon design.

The salon will feature a dramatic open mezzanine in the lounge area and new retail design innovations that showcase Koko Black’s chocolate produce.

“Alongside Koko Black, Adelaide is attracting international luxury and premium brands. It is a reflection of a growing sophistication and expectation within the Adelaide market. We are very excited to be part of this evolution” says founder and managing director of Koko Black Shane Hills.

Koko Black is excited to be introducing their seasonal dessert menu (featuring the much loved hot chocolate range) and signature retail range to Adelaide customers. High quality produce combined with a genuine salon experience and exceptional customer service is at the heart of what Koko Black strives for – to create a sensory experience that goes beyond the everyday.

One of Koko Blacks key points of difference is the level of freshness and quality of ingredients. As an example only fresh cream and fruit purees are used in chocolate centres – which in the case of chocolate truffles means a shelf life of only four weeks. Chocolate produce will arrive in perfect condition on overnight delivery from their main kitchen facility based in Melbourne, ready for Adelaide customers to enjoy that day.

Koko Black Adelaide is the tenth Koko Black salon; Koko Black remains a private family-owned, Melbourne-based business and is not a franchise.
