South Australian fitness power couple Kayla Itsines and Tobi Pearce have powered up the 2018 Financial Review Young Rich, coming in together at fifth and sixth.
With their $486 million combined wealth, Itsines (27) and Pearce (26) made one of the biggest jumps up the list over the past year.
The duo, who generated most of their earnings from their fitness app Sweat, are the wealthiest self-made 20-somethings in Australia – and the only South Australian Young Rich Listers.
The Young Rich List tracks the wealth of the richest Australians aged 40 and under, who are self-made and have not inherited their wealth.
The full list will be printed inside the November issue of AFR Magazine, released in The Australian Financial Review on October 26, with Itsines on the cover.
For a record seventh year, co-founders of software company Atlassian Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar topped the list at joint number 1 and 2, with a record $14.2 billion.
Also on the list were household names including cricketer Steve Smith (#95), Harry Kewell (#48), actor Chris Hemsworth (#49) and Miranda Kerr (#52).
