The Ultimate Food & Wine Spring Fling Is On Next Weekend

The Barossa Gourmet Weekend is fast approaching but there’s still time to plan something for next weekend – perhaps kills two birds with one stone and take Dad out to the Barossa for Father’s Day? 
If you’re uninitiated, Barossa Gourmet is a celebration putting the spotlight on authentic regional food of provenance, sourced from South Australian producers and quality world-class wines. A weekend that features 44 separate events, including intimate tastings, dining experiences, masterclasses, garden parties, and feasts, there’s plenty of options to satisfy your cravings for delicious food and wine. 
As one of the highlights of the weekend, Hutton Vale Farm and Henschke are having a fling in the rolling hills of the Eden Valley. The event will be offering up wholesome food grown on the surrounding paddocks, prepared by Harvest Kitchen, while Adelaide’s Porch Sessions spread their wings from their normal backyard style to provide an amazing line-up of live music among the whimsical courtyards and open spaces.
Hutton Vale, known for their sustainable farming practices, will wholesome, home-grown feature pork and lamb, fresh greens, organic grains, and spring root vegetables on the open coals, which will accompany a fantastic selection of Henschke and Hutton Vale wines, which will be available by the glass and bottle There’s also craft beer by Slo Brew and refreshing non-alcoholic options for the fab designated drivers out there
