Have You Tried Adelaide’s Bar On Wheels? Now’s Your Chance

0

Who ever said that cycling wasn’t fun has clearly never taken a trip on Adelaide’s cycle sensation. The crew from Handlebar Adelaide are back for another season, bigger than ever, with 4 specially designed 16 seater ‘pubs on wheels’ giving punters an unforgettable experience.

For two hours, you, and up to 15 of your nearest and dearest can peddle the streets of Adelaide as you enjoy a South Australian beer, cider or wine to keep you hydrated.  Making 2-3 stops along the way, you will be the envy of everyone around as you cycle through the city waving to onlookers like you are a rockstar.  It’s a whole lotta fun!

Do you have a smaller group? Well that’s no problem either as they will operate with as few as 6 people, and will join you up with other pedal peeps to help keep you moving around the streets. When we at GLAM Adelaide had our chance to Handlebar, we were joined by Anna who was having pre-wedding celebrations with her bridesmaids, and Pravin who had his family visiting from Dubai and Melbourne.  But trust us, you really don’t need an excuse to Handlebar it up – just get on board and pedal.

To make things easy, drinks are pre-organised and paid for online before you leave – no need for cash. If you think all that pedalling is going to make you peckish, you can bring snacks on board, and you can even decorate your bike, and play your own tunes for that personal touch.

We hate to be the ones to point it out, but Christmas is coming up fast (eeeek), and if it’s you that is responsible for the work Christmas show, this option could make you the office genius!  We like to think of it as guilt free fun – hey you are exercising while you drink, they must cancel each other out right?
