Slo Moe’s launches in Rundle Place this Friday, and to celebrate lunch is on them.
Headed up by SA’s renowned chef Nigel Rich, this is the very first outlet of its kind to offer authentic, Southern-style BBQ to South Australians.
Expect genuine, mouth watering meats cooked low and slo’ for over 10-14 hours using traditional unchanged methods that have been used over generations.
All meats have been sourced locally and will be prepared in the Slo Moe’s McLaren Vale smokery under Nigel Rich’s watchful eye and in conjunction with Co-Founder Darren Lange who was instrumental in bringing slow cooked American BBQ to Australia.
Slo Moe’s uses custom 1 1⁄2 tonne offset smokers to deliver the mouth watering result.
Nigel Rich said that he was so confident in this product that he wanted to open the doors on day one and invite everyone to have a taste, because he knows they’ll be back for more.
“We don’t have a fancy menu to hide behind. In fact, we really only cook five items – beef, lamb, pork, chicken and fish, with selection of sides, but what we do cook, we do exceptionally well. This is a classic case of quality over quantity,” he said.
The Rundle Place restaurant is the first stage of a dynamic product roll out over the coming months, that includes food service, at home (self catering) and events division as well a restaurant in the McLaren Vale.
