Go Your Own Way This Fringe With Koral & The Goodbye Horses

Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow (or slightly later in March) because Adelaide’s own supergroup Koral and the Goodbye Horses are taking on the legendary songbook of Fleetwood Mac for this year’s Adelaide Fringe!

Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow (or slightly later in March) because Adelaide’s own supergroup Koral and the Goodbye Horses are taking on the legendary songbook of Fleetwood Mac for this year’s Adelaide Fringe!

‘Go Your Own Way’ will be a one-hour live extravaganza of the Grammy Award winning hits from everyone’s favourite Fleetwood Mac in The Peacock at Gluttony.

The very talented and much acclaimed ‘horsies” have been hand-picked by the charismatic and energetic frontwoman – Koral. While they focus on original music, sometimes you’ve just got to take the elephant by the Tusk (so to speak) and crank out some old faves.

With that being said, let us introduce you to the band!

Sam Knight, the percussionist, lives his best life scoring movie soundtracks including The Lucky One (oh hai Zac Efron) and The Boys Are Back. He also gravitates towards banging the skins and singing as a session musician for some massive names (we heard Linkin Park were among those).

Aaron Nash joins Koral and the Goodbye Horses on the ol’ black and white (keys) and proudly boasts the title of South Australia Screen Awards nominated composer.

Strumming his heart on on the guitar is Django Rowe, who only recently returned from the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program at the Kennedy Centre in Washington D.C!

Local singer-songwriter from The Janes, Alison Coppe, joins in on guitar and vocals, belting out a tune or two, and (we’re hoping) getting very involved in The Chain.

David Mazzarelli also joins in on the Fleetwood fun, and he may be l ast on our list, but is definitely not the least! Mazzarelli is a member of rock outfit Cosmo Thundercat, who can be seen opening for some massive acts, from Thirsty Merc, to alt-rock heroes They Might Be Giants.

This isn’t the first time the band has turned their attention to the lyrical and musical supernova that is Fleetwood Mac, selling out a tribute performance during the 2016 Umbrella Winter music festival.

With such a star studded lineup, and we’re pretty certain a hit studded setlist, this is one Fleetwood Mac tribute not to miss! You can catch Go Your Own Way on Monday 12 March or Saturday 17 March. Tix available here.
