8- Beneath Australian Skies We don’t know what it is that makes your heart skip a beat when you look up and see a shooting star. But there’s a lot more science behind it than you would think. Whether you want to know the logic behidn the stars under our aussie sky, or just marvel at the beauty, we’d recommend you do so with astronomer Paul Curnow. The man, the myth, the legend of the night sky has been taking audiences on cosmic journeys at the Adelaide Planetarium for nearly the past 25-years.

8-10- Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival The aforementioned Adelaide Beer and BBQ Festival is here. Hope your stretchy pants are handy, you’ll need them. The name is pretty self explanatory if we’re honest. This is the biggest ever showcase of South Australian, Australian and international beer and cider in the state with 50+ exhibitors under the one roof including our favourites, Lobo Cider and Prancing Pony. Then there’s more meat than you can poke a really really big stick at. And live music. Can you really ever be sad eating bacon?
