This year’s Crush Festival coincides perfectly with the Australia Day long weekend, which means a looooooooong weekend full of wine, food, and music! Dinner at DuskBird in Hand Friday & Saturday 6pm

Chef de Cuisine, Ben Fenwick, celebrates Bird in Hand’s finest wines with a spectacular progression of South Australia’s acclaimed produce. Start with pre-dinner drinks and freshly shucked Coffin Bay Oysters on the terrace, followed by six courses with paired wines, as the sun sets over the vineyards. Long Table Southern Style Seafood Feast — The Lane Vineyard 1:30pm to 5:30pm

Roll up your sleeves and pop on your bib! The Lane Vineyard are going to transform their Terrace to a long table full of seafood and wine, paired with frivolity and sunshine. $95pp includes a glass of Lois Brut Rosé on arrival and your Crush glass to take home. Book your spot here!

Toffs & Tails — Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard 6:30pm to 11pm

Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Chef Adam Bowden has planned an extravagant five course dinner that alternates between a tail or a tale. We’re talking about Port Lincoln prawn tails, a la nicoise to a Sleeping Beauty, Gingerbread Man & Cinderella course. Each course is, of course, matched perfectly with a Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard wine. You’ll get a bit of stargazing and lofty views from their restaurant deck, all the while Bill Parton All Stars’ swing band entertains you. Tickets for this fairy (tail) tale dinner are $195 and you have to book via TheFork.

Fringe in the Vines — Tomich Wines 11am to 6pm

Can’t wait until Fringe? The good news is, you don’t have to wait much long to get a little taster. Set on the picturesque Tomich Wines vineyard lawns under the shade of tents and umbrellas, Fringe in the Vines is a two-day event with plenty for the whole family with performances, food trucks, tractor hay bale rides through the vineyard, live art, live music and a dedicated kids area with face painting and colouring in! Fringe in the Vines is on the Australia Day long weekend, both Saturday January 26 and Sunday January 27, 11am to 6pm daily.

Chilled Summer Days — Paracombe 12pm to 5pm

Paracombe are getting into the Aussie spirit this Australia Day long weekend, cooking up rosemary encrusted rack of lamb, homemade chicken and vegetable pie, and a seasonal roast vegetable frittata. Head on over to the gorgeous grounds both Saturday & Sunday for a sensory summer weekend of beautiful wine, delicious food made fresh in our kitchen, earthy live music and gorgeous art. International Rosé & Dumpling Festival — Howard Vineyard 10am to 5pm

We love rosé. We love dumplings. Put them together and what to you get? Heaven. And if you want a ticket to heaven, all you gotta do is head over to Howard Vineyard where they’re celebrating one of the world’s best wine and food combos — rosé and dumplings. Tickets are $10, which includes entry and the cost of your Crush glass that you can keep as a little souvenir. Beats + Eats + Art From The Streets — Longview Vineyard 12pm to 6pm

With DJ Ryley, Matt Sammut, and Faint One bringing the beats, La Dolce Vita bringing the eats, and local artist J2ske bringing the art from the streets, Longview’s Crush event looks like it’s going to be one of the coolest places to escape the heat this weekend. Local street artist J2ske will also be painting live for you to feast your eyes—not just your bellies! Tickets are free, so just head on over for kick off’s at 12pm.

Friesling & Fish ‘n’ Chips — The Lane Vineyard 12pm to 6pm

The lawn will be alive with Friesling and funky beats. Fish & chips will be available to purchase for lunch on and can be complemented with delightful aromatics at our outdoor bar. Like to try something new? Enjoy a glass of The Lane’s special frozen Riesling, all whilst enjoying the idyllic surrounds. No tickets needed!

Fringe in the Vines Sit-down Dinner Tomich Wines 5pm to 8pm

Alongside their weekend-long Fringe in the Vines family-friendly event, Tomich Wines are also hosting a spectacular grazing dinner in the vineyard under the big tree, only on Sunday 27 January. The dinner is a sit-down, three-course affair, with a shared grazing style experience. With views overlooking the vineyard and valley, you’ll get to watch special Fringe event performers whilst indulging in a dinner with delicious Adelaide Hills produce paired with Tomich wines. Fiesta MexicanaGolding Wines 11am to 6pm

Enjoy a gorgeous day out in the Hills at Golding Wine’s Fiesta Mexicana, celebrating the fresh vibrancy of Mexican food with delicious soft tacos, salads, and more. Team your taco with one of their wines, a local beer or cider or try a signature Golding Rosé Spritz. There’ll be live tunes from The Wonderlands throughout the day and a kids jumping castle between 11am to 4pm. Grab your picnic blankets and rock up—tickets are $10 at the door (to cover the cost of your Crush glass)!
