If you’ve been plagued with how to enjoy a cocktail or three, without the associated sugary goodness that normally comes hand-in-hand with them, a solution is finally on your doorstep.
Gone are the days when you could only order Gin & Soda for a low cal, guilt free bevvy on your night out in the city.
Over the weekend, Electra House Hotel launched their new cocktail offering ‘The Ginbucha’.
Joining together with South Australian functional beverage company UTONIC, they have developed a range of kombucha-infused gin cocktails.
The mastermind behind the collaboration, General Manager Chad Hanson, has paired the five zero-sugar sparkling kombuchas available from UTONIC with five gins from Electra House’s extensive menu based on the flavour profile in each kombucha flavour.
Chad Hanson said, “We’re so excited to be able to bring our healthier cocktail to Adelaide! Teaming with UTONIC and using their Kombucha allows us to make low-sugar gin cocktails, which have all the added health benefits of Kombucha.”
“We are proud to be working with Electra House to showcase our Kombucha range of five flavours containing zero sugar, which we think makes the perfect partner for their newest cocktail The Ginbucha,” said Toby Yap, Co-Founder of UTONIC.
“We have worked hard to create a delicious range of sparkling kombucha that moves away from the vinegar styles of the past to appeal to a much larger market,” continued UTONIC’s CEO Michael Brinkley.
“Our Ginbucha range will consist of five pairings and with one of them being made with a non-alcoholic gin, to ensure everyone in Adelaide can enjoy these delicious cocktail creations,” Hanson concluded.
‘The Ginbucha’ will be available from 4 August at Electra House Hotel. The five flavours will include Pomegranate, Lemon & Lime, Mango, Ginger & Turmeric, and Mixed Berry.
