Gilles At The Grounds Turns Green This Saturday For Mother Earth

Good morning beautiful people of Adelaide! Gilles At The Grounds (formerly known the Gilles Street Market) is hosting a Green Edit THIS Sunday! This market will look at the ways we can reduce waste as a community and try to make a difference. Re Think. Re Purpose. Re Love.

There will be various workshops, including make your own Terrarium, and a Vintage Assemblage Jewellery workshop, where you can learn the craft of reclaiming and repurposing vintage jewellery! Cool!

If you’re a stall-holder and you’ve got clothes, shoes, bags, hats or scarves that are just laying around your room, staring at you, judging you for not wearing them anymore, why not come and donate them to the Red Cross pop-up stall? They are going to provide bags and boxes to stallholders and bring a van along to collect all the unwanted clothing at the end of the day. They will also be there with a great range of pre-loved and vintage wares!

This event is a great way to support local designers, crafty people, bakers, and connoisseurs. You can eat green inspired foods, drink sustainable coffee and browse all the market has to offer – and it’s a lot!! So, Adelaideans, get down to Wayville this Sunday! Gates open at 10:00am, and entry is free.

Shop Vintage. Shop Pre loved. Shop Sustainable fashion.  Shop Local Design. Shop Slow Fashion.
