Get Your Tickets For The Next Meet The Maker Dinner At Acacia

Where even the music will be matched to the food and wine.

Taste the creations of Barossa’s Whistler Wines and chat to the winemaker at Acacia’s upcoming meet the maker dinner.

The Henley Beach buzzing brunch spot is holding their second in the meet the maker series on Friday August 24 from 6.30pm.

Starting with Whistler’s Back to Basics orange wine on arrival, guests will get to work their way through the quirkily-named range including the Dry as a Bone Rose, Get in my Belly Grenache and Shiver Down the Spine Shiraz, with a tea cleanser by The Tea Catcher in the middle and amaro apertif to finish.

Between the five courses, Whistler Wines grape grower and winemaker Josh Pfeiffer will talk through his collection and procedures.

Acacia’s head Chef Duane Tilka is still putting together the menu, but will match the wines using not only the flavour profile to inspire dishes, but also the wine names.

And if the wine and food pairing isn’t enough, DJ Shep will be on the decks specifically pairing the music to the food and the wine.

Tickets are $110 per person. Click here for tickets.

And one to keep an eye out for – Acacia will be opening four nights a week in summer. They’ll be launching their new full dinner menu soon, which is designed for sharing.
