To celebrate, old friend of Menz, Bikko the Baker, is excited to announce a mouth-wateringly creative competition – the 2011 Bikko’s Bake Off. Aspiring cooks are invited to invent a dangerously delicious, sensationally scoffable recipe incorporating milk or dark Menz Bikko’s.
Need food for thought? Head chef of The Manse restaurant, Lachlan Colwill and award winning cocktail connoisseur from Adelaide Casino’s Chandelier Bar, Owen Colin will shake and bake things up with their unique recipes kick starting the competition.
Season one Masterchef contestant, Andre Ursini, will also get his chance to pay it forward as one half of the judging panel for the Bikko’s Bake Off.
Second half of the judging team, Bikko the Baker, can’t wait to see (and taste!) all the delightfully delicious and genius creations.
“Imagination is the key ingredient when creating a scoffable recipe. Masterpieces could include anything from a Bikko’s Tiramisu to a Bikko’s Bouche – a twist on the traditional French Croque en Bouche. The ideas are endless,” said Bikko the Baker.
“Fire up the oven and get those brains ticking for some finger licking Bikko’s baking,”
The winning recipe will win a year’s supply of Menz Bikko’s along with a once in a lifetime opportunity to tour the Robern Menz factory to witness the mouth-watering behind-the- scenes magic and enjoy all the tastings they desire*.
