Swap those movies for a background of glimmering stars, grab a glass of red wine instead, and snuggle up to your nearest and dearest for warmth istead as you enjoy all that the Barossa has to offer this winter! Not convinced? ‘Cause you hate the cold? Well, how do you feel about the biggest bon fire you’ve ever set eyes on?!

Barossa Burns celebrates Whistler Wine’s age old tradition of a mass burning of the winery’s dead vines in preparation for a new harvest. Just think of how toasty warm you’ll be while dancing around the fire with your friends or even watching from the sidelines with a lovely glass of red in hand or maybe some food from the fire. Local Adelaide acustic trio, My Brother George, will also be there so provide the smooth tunes!

Enjoy winter the right way on Saturday 7 July from 11am to 5pm at Whistler Wines241 Seppeltsfield Road, Stone Well SA 5352. Maybe if you bring a big stick and some marshmallows, the winery will let you make some s’mores! Yum!
