Fowler’s Live To Be Reborn As Lion Arts Factory After Major Renos

And to kick things off, music legend Montaigne and Gang of Four will be playing.

Lion Arts Factory has just been announced as the new live music and multi-purpose venue that will be launching in Adelaide’s west end in February 2019.

Keeping the much-loved, former Fowler’s Live space open predominantly for live music, the venue will also be used for art, comedy, theatre and more, with bookings now open for 2019.

The space will close over December and January for major renovations: revitalising the heritage building, upgrading the stage and production, new bars fitted plus more.

Five Four Entertainment and Penny Hospitality are jointly bringing the vision to life.

Five Four Entertainment Co-Director Craig Lock said they are “thrilled to take on such a beloved music and arts space, and continue its legacy as one of Adelaide’s premiere live music venues. We have been booking venues and events in Adelaide for many years, and are very excited to share the first taste of what we have planned.

An opening weekend date and many more bookings are due to be announced in the coming weeks.

The legacy of this space catering to a diverse range of musical genres as well as focusing on all ages events is something the Lion Arts Factory team are proud to continue.

A small but exciting cross section of national and international artists that will be some of the first to grace this new venue have already been announced, and are on sale now including Converge (USA)Montaigne (AUS)Gang of Four (UK)
