Fork In The Summer: Adelaide’s Tastiest Event Is Back This February

Food trucks galore, what more could you want?

Oh yes food lovers, your fave event is rolling out its first event for February and it starts with Fork in the Summer.

Everything that you have come to expect from a Fork on the Road event will be hitting a new location in West Torrens. Don’t miss all of your favourite Adelaide food trucks as they take over The Kings Reserve (which is conveniently only a few minutes away from the city).

Say hello to thirty of Adelaide’s new and established food trucks as they offer a plethora of tasty, handmade savoury and sweet treats. We will just name a few otherwise your stomachs might explode in anticipation, but on the list to attend are Chimichurri Grill, Phat Buddha Rolls, Cheesy Street, Delectaballs, Skwish, The Little Cake Tin, Bodri’s Bakery, LocaPops, Four Seeds, The Rolling Pizza Oven, and SO many more.

But where there is food there should always be drink. And drink there will be… With a special licenced area featuring local brewers and cider and wine makers, you can sip away on drinks from the likes of Wheatsheef Brewery, Swell Brewing, Oliver’s Taranga, Lobo Cider and Big Shed Brewing. We will have one from each, please and thank you!

While you feast, enjoy music from The Baker Suite (5 piece), Banjo Jackson (4 piece), Kaurna Cronin (duo) and Paige Renee Court on the outdoor stage, and Adelaide Classic Rock ‘n’ Roll dance demonstrations, and music from TJ and The Twinspinners and DJ Peter Panagaris on the indoor stage.

The Wanderers Rock and Roll Car Club will also be displaying more than 50 classic vehicles, race cars and bikes. And on top of all of this amazingness there will also be children’s entertainment including The Nylon Zoo, dig-a-dino, PLAI space, free face painters, giant games and craft activities. Holy moly!

Car parking is available at Thebarton Community Centre or in the Brickworks Marketplace shopping centre complex across the road.

“It has been great being approached by and working with the City of West Torrens to put this on, we love trying out new locations and are really looking forward to this Fork” says Fork organiser, Joe Noone.

All of the details are on www.forkontheroad.com.au or Fork on the Road Facebook page.
