Good news food lovers! Simon Karachi’s (Melt, Osteria Oggi, The Pot) newest venture, SeaSalt, is opening for takeaway orders from this evening with dine in opening next Monday!

SeaSalt is the newest hot-spot of Henley, housed underneath Melt at Henley Beach, providing punters with quality fish and chips down by the seaside.

A place for everyone, regardless of occasion, the casual and playful diner will serve not only the quintessential fish and chip in paper combo, but also a wide selection of fresh and local seafood such as oysters (for those who are feeling a little fancier).

SeaSalt is a nod to the 1970’s fish and chipper, with high quality, fresh, local, sustainable seafood. The menu includes some old classics like the prawn cocktail and battered fish, but also highlights some upcoming favourites including the savoury doughnuts with Kampot black pepper blue swimmer crab sauce, and the SeaSalt Sanga with wombok slaw, pickles and tonkatsu sauce complimenting chicken or fish.

SeaSalt and the new Melt are in the old Evida site at Henley Square and have brought a breath of fresh (sea) air to the dining options (which are plenty now) at Henley.

SeaSalt is open from 11am til late 7 days a week with all day dining and a capacity of 90 once the dine in is open (Monday).
