FIRST LOOK: New Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar Opens At West Lakes!

Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar is opening its fourth Adelaide location today in West Lakes.

Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar is opening its fourth Adelaide location today in West Lakes.

Since launching in Sydney in 2001, Crust Gourmet Pizza has expanded nationally, establishing over 120 stores around Australia and becoming the market leader in take away gourmet pizzas in New South Wales and Victoria.

Fortunately, Adelaide is let in on the tantalising flavour combinations Crust has to offer, with three stores established in Norwood, Brighton and Unley and now a fourth in West Lakes.

The new Crust Pizza Bar is located in the Infinity Building on 155 Brebner Drive and offers an amazing lake view accompanying their tasty treats, which you can indulge in guilt free thanks to their innovative, inclusive menu.

Menus are released seasonally to include trending flavour combinations and seasonal produce. With each menu released, Crust Gourmet Pizza has established a niche market, with their gourmet flavours second to none. Taking advantage of the ever-changing landscape, Crust caters to all and their menu includes a variety of tasty vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and low-carb options.

The team behind the new Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar at West Lakes is headed by Ashok (Ash) and Puja who believe that despite the busy suburban location, once customers have tried their slices of perfection, there will be no competition.

“The flavours of Crust, made from a generous combination of fresh South Australian produce on a beautiful crispy base, can’t be beaten,” Ash says.

“It doesn’t matter that we are located in an area with other cafes and take-away shops because Crust offers their own unique recipes…there will be no competition,” he says.

While the store, like its counterparts, will begin specialising in take-away pizzas, the location has a spacious dining area where customers may sit and enjoy their meal and overlook a beautiful lake view.

So why should you let the weather get you down this winter?

Why not plan a night in with your partner and try the new gourmet Upper Crust beef cheek with red wine jus?

Or perhaps a night out with friends, and share a Middle Eastern mezze platter and a beautiful, buttery (and vegan friendly) herb and garlic sourdough?

Maybe after seeing a film at Reading Cinemas West Lakes you have a craving for something sweet. Stop by the new Crust and try a serve of their house cooked Belgian waffles, dusted with icing sugar and served with a choice of Canadian maple syrup, salted caramel or chocolate fudge sauce. Yum!

The delicious possibilities are endless! So next time you’re driving home from work after a stressful day, when suddenly the deafening sound of your own stomach breaks through the combination of road noise and radio chatter, keep Crust in mind.

Trading hours are 4:30pm to 10pm Monday to Sunday.
