Feast Festival Gets Risqué With Hilarious Comedy Mass Debate

Now this will be hilarious…

Feast Festival has never been shy to discuss the hairy topics. This year is no exception with the ‘Comedy Mass Debate’ set to raise a few eyebrows!

The ‘Comedy Mass Debate’ will be exploring the issue surrounding the downstairs area. Hosted by Adelaide comedian and rising star on stage, Demi Lardner, the debate is cheeky and perhaps a little risqué’. It will play host to a range of camp debaters including Thomas Jaspers, Toby Halligan, Lisa-Skye, Daisy Berry, Andy Balloch and Marcus Willis. They will be discussing topics surrounding the pros and cons of a practice which transcends gender, religion and sexuality. To pluck or not to pluck, that is the question. The debate will explore hair vs bare, hairless vs au natural or high maintenance vs can’t be bothered. Which are you?

Although young, Demi Lardner’s confidence and impressive comedy background make her a prime choice to host the debate. Growing up in Adelaide, Demi is a local comedian and writer on the rise with a few awards under her belt. Having first appeared on stage at 16, Demi feels very confident performing in front of others. In 2013, she won the National RAW Comedy Competition and tied first place in the national final of ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ the same year. Demi went on to win Adelaide Comedy’s Rising Star Award for Best Newcomer and Bank SA’s Best Emerging Comedy Show in Adelaide Fringe 2013 for the production of Wolf Creek: The Musical.
