Experience the New Burnside Village

After months of waiting the stunning new Burnside Village expansion was finally be revealed when it opened for trade on Tuesday Nov 1st.

The huge new 7,300m2 retail expansion does not disappoint on its promise to take SA retail to a totally new level:

   •   The entire new centre is covered in a spectacular 21 metre high glass panelled roof
   •   The centre’s new limestone floor tiles are from quarries in Cicely, Italy
   •   The centrepiece of the expansion – now called ‘The Tree Mall’ – is the 18 metre high 100-year-old River Red Gum.
   •   Located directly under the tree is a new Flagship Cibo Espresso Bar – designed in-house by Cibo, but built and shipped from Italy which seats up to 150 people
   •   The Village Pharmacy – features brand new uber-stylish custom designed cosmetic counters, (Lancôme’s counter at Burnside Village is their very latest design in all of Australia.)
   •   The malls look amazing thanks to each of the retailers – who have designed their own individual 5 metre high store front (Karen Millen – black gloss mirrored walls, Oroton – huge branded feature wall, etc)
   •   French Connection and Seed both have mezzanine floors
   •   Husk has a beautiful wooden floor – hand picked from timber from Daylesford Victoria
   •   The following concept stores (opening tomorrow) in the centre are firsts for SA;
           – Karen Millen
           – Husk
           – Oxford
            – The Make Up Store
           – Rodd & Gunn

The key areas in the mall now reflect the beautiful ‘experience’ that shopping at Burnside Village is:
   •   The Tree Mall
   •   The Village square
   •   The Atrium Mall
   •   The Vine Mall
   •   The Village Markets

There are also 8 x digital wayfinders (touch screens), for shoppers to find their way through the centre.
