Everyone! Register Now For Light The Night!

Aside from being stunning to watch, Light The Night is incredible meaningful to take part in. SA events start at the end of the month, all raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Find your closest event here.

Brighten up lives this October by walking in solidarity with thousands of communities across Australia who will raise a lantern in remembrance of loved ones and support those in their own journey of living with blood cancer.

On October 7, the Light the Night event will begin in Victoria Square for some funk and soul entertainment from Adelaide’s own The Cast alongside some tasty food choices. And when dusk settles, the streets of Wakefield, Flinders and Pultney will light up as everyone carries beautifully shining lanterns of hope – gold to remember a loved one, white for their own journey and blue to show support – on their gentle walk.

All funds raised will help vital blood cancer support services in SA, including Bridgestone Australia Leukaemia Foundation Village in Adelaide who’ve provided 10,000 free nights of accomodation to blood cancer patients and their families since 2013.
“While research is improving survival, blood cancer claims more Australian lives than breast cancer or melanoma. We’d love to see more Light the Night walks happen right across SA. Come join us and help us to Light the Night” says Simon Matthias, the General Manager of the Leukaemia Foundation of SA/NT.
Nine Light the Night events will be held across South Australia:
September 30 – Peterborough
October 7 – Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Mt Gambier, Waikerie, McLaren Vale
October 20 – Myponga
October 22 – Mount Barker, Whyalla
December 3 – Barmera

So, gather your family and friends to make a difference by joining the community in the visually stunning and uplifting night. Register today to ‘Light the Night’.
